Comedy Classics of the '70s

This video includes a number of sketches and clips from various comedy shows of the 1970s, including Terry and June, Jasper Carrott, Spike Milligan and Butterflies. It also includes one sketch from Cannon and Ball, dated 1979. This means it is from the first series of their TV show.

In The duo are hunting for a flat, and are shown round one by a dodgy estate agent. Unfortunately it has a serious damp problem - the telephone squirts water, the mouse trap has caught a fish and there is a penguin in the fridge.

When Tommy opens the door to the cellar an octopus tentacle tries to grab him. There are windscreen wipers on the windows. Of course, they decide to take the flat when Tommy finds the resident mermaid.
